What should my kid read? What should I read next?

This site was started as a labor of love. As a middle and elementary school teacher, parents and students are always asking me for book recommendations. This site is a way for me to guide your child or you through a reading journey.

I will tell you why a book should be read, what to look for in the book, what to read next, and so on. I will provide categorizations that will help you choose books, and comments about the maturity level of the concepts and themes of the books.

Please contact me with questions and suggestions, as well as requests for books to be included!
